Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! I am so so so late to this recap; I’ve apparently been very busy. But this month was wonderful! I may be a little biased, since it is my birth month, but I had many lovely adventures and family time that filled up my time.

Adventures
Zoo Day
My family went to the zoo pretty spontaneously and, fortunately, I was not working that day, so I got to join! My sister and niece were also there, and I mainly walked around with them. I believe we walked throughout nearly the whole zoo, the aquarium included! However, despite wanting to go mainly for the Dippin’ Dots, they were all closed by the time I was able to get them… but, I suppose, it was still a nice day without them.
The Fourth of July
The day started early with my youngest sister marching in a local parade with her baton troop! We took our usual spot near the judges’ stand, on a convenient and wide strip of sidewalk. My fiancé, as well as my sister and her family, were able to join us which made it a lovely time with family! Afterward, my fiancé and I went to his uncle’s house to hang out with his family and to swim. I took a little nap after swimming and dinner, then we left to watch fireworks. I was pretty spent after the day ended, but it was a wonderful time!
The Big Butler Fair
I remember hearing radio advertisements of this fair when I was younger, and it was always a little dream of mine to attend some day. Fortunately, my fiancè and his family are from Butler, and I was finally able to fulfill it! I rode about three rides, got some Dippin’ Dots, got an airbrush tattoo, and got to hang out with some extended family, too! It was hot and I did get motion-sick from one of the rides, but it was loads of fun!
Short-Term Mission Trip
This was my tenth year of going to Fairmont, West Virginia! I’ll be posting more in-depth about it next month, but it was such a wonderful time! I put down a new floor, painted some trip and stairs, and got to hang out with three of my siblings! I did miss my fiancè a bit, but I have a whole year to convince him to come with us the next time!

Quotes
“At lunchtime I bought a huge orange—this size of it made us all laugh. I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Dave—they got quarters and I had a half. And that orange, it made me so happy, as ordinary things often do. Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park. This is peace and contentment. It’s new. The rest of the day was quite easy. I did all the jobs on my list and enjoyed them and had some time over. I love you. I’m glad I exist.”
