Markets, Meetings, & Family Time // June 2025

,

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! This month was honestly kinda crazy busy and insane—hence this post being a week late—but I loved it! From wedding planning to beautiful sunsets to loads of family time, I experienced so many wonderful things! I’m excited for the rest of this summer!

Adventures

Five Markets & Fairs

I helped my older sister, Emma, with three markets for her business, attended another one with her, then went to a local fair with my fiancè and his family! I got a few knick-knacks from the markets with my sister including a dress, a beautiful little mirror, a gold cross necklace, a few other clothing items, and some refreshments. I also collected a ton of business cards, of course! The local fair I went to with my future in-laws had a parade at the beginning, which was loads of fun, then we just walked around mostly for the actual fair part. I love these sorts of events so much—they really bring summer to life! If possible, do some research to find local markets and fair around you; I would SO recommend attending!

End-of-the-Year Show

My youngest sister twirls baton in the same troop that my other sisters and I twirled in, and they recently started doing an end-of-the-year show! We used to have a banquet at the end of each season, but stopped during COVID, then picked back up again with these shows in 2023, I believe. The show is hosted at a local theater, complete with a concession stand! I always enjoy spending that evening with my family, supporting my sister, and seeing all the cool costume changes, routines, etc.!

Wedding Meetings

We’re at the point of planning where we’re almost done with the hard, stressful things, a.k.a. getting vendors. We had a meeting/tasting with our caterer and finalized the menu; it was a lot more fun since we could eat some delicious food in the meantime! We also had our first meeting with a DJ, which went wonderfully, and contacted the photographer who did our engagement photos! We’ve still got to secure a florist and videographer, but I think we’re on a good track!
