Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! I certainly felt more alive this month with more warm weather and some fun time with family and friends. We’ve evn got some daffodils starting to bloom in our front yard! I hope to get back into posting regularly within the next few months, especially when I’m done with my online courses. So, stay tuned for more posts, but I hope you’re still enjoying my little posts about my life each month!

Adventures
Birthdays
We celebrated my husband’s mom’s birthday twice, actually, as well as my niece’s birthday! We celebrate with my mother-in-law on her actual birthday, by going out to dinner, then again the next Saturday evening… after the birthday party for my niece. It was a busy day, but I love celebrating birthdays and life, and it certainly helps having an adorable niece and seeing her reactions to the gifts, food, and people!
Little Moments Here and There
There were so many life-giving moments this month! My mom and I started thrifting together every other week when she’s in our neck of the woods, my husband and I went to a maple syrup demonstration at a local park with friends, we had my great uncle over to watch a hockey game (with chicken wings for dinner!), and Palm Sunday! With the weather getting warmer, it was so lovely to be outside more, catch up with friends, and experience life blooming again. I’m excited for summer to be in full-swing soon!
Personal Wellness
We had some more health things going on! I have been feeling better since starting treatments with a functional medicine practitioner, however, we discovered that my husband had some deep-rooted things going on, including Lyme! Thankfully, we were able to get results back, and he was already feeling better after just five days on detox/healing supplements and such! It has been quite a whirlwind of events, but I think we’ve got it sorted out! (famous last words…)
A Wellness Expo
Those who may have checked out my About Me page may know that I am in training to become a birth/postpartum doula! With that, I’ve been planning to join a group of fellow Christian women and went to a wellness expo with some of them. I got to meet even more of the team, dip my toes in the water of that realm, and explore some other cool businesses! I’m so excited to continue digging into this beautiful line of work, and if you’d ever like to see blog posts (Wednesday Whatevers) relating to doula things, let me know in the comments below!
