Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! This month was pretty chill as I’m getting used to my “new normal,” and trying to work on my routines and habits. However, there were times when I felt non-stop, hence why this post is coming five days late. My word for February 2024 is “frolicsome.”

– Frolicsome –
[ frol – ihk – suhm ]
DEFINITION: merrily playful; full of fun.

– Paint-Your-Own-Pottery –
I work at a paint-your-own-pottery studio and finally took advantage of it! I painted an adorable planter that had mushrooms on it and I am so stoked that it turned out well!! I had never done this before so I was so worried it would come out awful 😅 but I got a sneak peek of it as it was almost ready to come out of the kiln and I almost short-circuited from excitement. 10/10 would recommend finding a place like this in your town and going to paint!
– Friends! –
I hung out with my friends quite a bit this month which is always an excellent pick-me-up! Nearly every Saturday, two of my male friends and I go to my brother-in-law and sister’s house and, while the boys do work, we, girls, chill with the baby and chat; I love it! I also went skiing with a few male friends one weekend which was loads of fun (even though I fell on nearly every descent). One Monday morning, I grabbed coffee with a friend at a place I had never tried and it was so so sweet! I adore my friends with my whole heart 🤎
– A Youth Retreat –
Speaking of friends, two friends and I went about four hours east to be leaders at a weekend youth retreat! I knew some of the folks there and it was great to catch up with them, but also meet new kids and fellow leaders. The theme of the messages was Sin, Salvation, and Service, and the messages were so good; I love worship/message time at any sort of retreat or trip! Whether you’re a youth or a young adult, I highly encourage you to get connected with your church (or another!) and take part in a youth retreat like this; It is such a wonderful time with God’s people!
– Auditioning –
I’ve been trying to make my way back on stage and have gone to quite a few auditions since high school. I recently auditioned once more for a play based on the historical events of the “radium girls.” I thought I did pretty well, but I didn’t end up getting any part. I’m a little bummed, especially because the friend I auditioned with got a part. But, I suppose that’s just not where God wants me right now, so onto the next!

How Can I Pray For You In March?
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
