Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! I was just at a baby shower a few days ago and will be going to another this Saturday. So, naturally, I was like, “Hey, I could make a blog post about this!” Here we are! I’m back again, listing a handful of cute gift ideas (and finishing it off with a neat little graphic at the end, of course). Enjoy!
psst… I found all of these products on Amazon (this isn’t sponsored/partnered/etc.) and left links so you can find them and even create a list to keep them all together!
double-psst… instead of going with a traditional gift bag and tissue paper, why not buy a diaper bag and put the other gifts inside? It’s like a baby gift basket!!
>> Baby Shower Gift Ideas <<
1 || Diaper Bag

ISN’T THIS SO COOL??
This is one of my personal favorites. Many pockets, a cute design, AND A BUILT-IN PLAY PEN!
2 || Diapers

What else can I say?
They’re diapers.
A necessity, sure, but also a great help for mama so she can check one more thing off her list.
3 || Wipes

Again, a necessity and sort of a no-duh gift, but it’s essential to helping mama cross one more thing off of her shopping list.
4 || Baby Books

This is so cute. Another one of my personal faves, and I love how they’re small and more compact. You can easily fit two or three (or even the whole set, who knows?) into the baby bag and go somewhere.
5 || Parenting Books

I. Love. This.
This would work perfect for a little baby shower gift basket. Just by looking at the pictures, I can tell this book is super insightful and helpful and the perfect gift for new parents.
6 || Stuffed Animals

My little brother had a stuffed animal like this called “BlankiPooh.” (it was Winnie the Pooh, but in blanket form like this) Now, you could get a traditional stuffed animal (or many), but I just remember my little brother loving this for years.
7 || Gift Cards

Just in case something was missed, or the couple wants to get more of something they received, a gift card is the perfect route to go. It can be a gift by itself or even an add-on!
Now, I chose Amazon because that’s where I would get everything, but if the parents have a registry through Target or if you’re getting mama some pretty candles from Bath and Body Works, I would advise you get cards from those stores.
8 || Pregnancy Compression Socks

I’ve never been pregnant. However, my mother had nine kids, five of them being after me. I’ve heard stories of sore feet, swollen feet, all sorts of uncomfiness, so why not throw a pair or two of compression socks in the gift bag for mama?
9 || Baby Growth Tracker

This is so cute!!
Again, another one of my faves.
As someone who likes to keep track of LITERALLY EVERYTHING, this is just magical. It’s non-dated for one thing (extra customizable!), and it also has stickers, a chart each month to fill out, regarding your baby’s growth. It’s just wonderful.
10 || Baby Toys

An absolute necessity.
I’m not really sure how I feel about those beige wooden toys or whatever that folks are talking about now, but all I know is that all eight of my siblings and I grew up with colorful, chaotic toys that just got older with every kid and we all turned out fine!
A toy is a toy, and baby’s love them.
11 || Crib Mobile

I don’t remember if any of my siblings and I had crib mobiles, but I remember my youngest sister being enamoured by our family room fan when she was a baby. She just stared at it, cooing.
So, with that being said, a cute, colorful, little spinny thing to occupy the baby? It’s a steal!
(bonus points if it plays soft music)
12 || Baby Carrier

With fifty billion children, this was probably a lifesaver for my mom. You can hold your baby close, get some close time, but also have your hands free to get stuff done or go somewhere. It’s great.
Also, not sure how these little narratives/comments got to “You” and “Your” or whatever, but I’m just gonna go with it, ‘cuz, quite frankly, I don’t know how to communicate with people and don’t feel like switching up my POV. Enjoy!
13 || Stroller

Anytime you’re going somewhere and are bringing the baby, this is great. It even comes with extra storage beneath the baby seat and, sometimes, up above, as well!
14 || Stroller Phone Mount

I’ve never seen a stroller that has a proper place to put your phone. So, for mama who may want to facetime or call a friend while she walks or shops, this is perfect!
15 || Burp Towels

I’m fairly sure my mom had these towels for every single child. I’m fairly sure I never saw them tear or get ruined either. They’re super durable and probably indestructable.
10/10 would recommend for a new parent.
16 || Hooded Bath Towel

THIS IS SO CUTE!!
Not only are babies just adorable in general, but especially when they’re all wrapped up in a towel, and ESPECIALLY in a cute little hooded animal towel.
Talk about baby fever, y’know?
17 || Baby Monitor

Rumor has it that parents are always super protective over their first-born. If they worry about leaving the baby to sleep alone or want to make sure the baby is safe, a baby monitor is the way to go!
18 || White Noise Machine

I am not a baby, that’s for sure.
But I am scared of everything, much like a baby.
One thing I’m scared of and hate very much is silence, so even some white noise or just something can help sooth a baby who may be unsettled by the sound of nothingness.
19 || Rattle Socks

This is so cute.
Baby’s love making noise and seeing bright colors and moving around and these socks allow the little baby to do all three at the same time.
Bonus: the baby even learns how to multitask!
20 || ANYTHING Homemade

If you’re a pro-quilter, knitter, crocheter, or other-crafter, I’m fairly certain that the new parents would love receiving a handmade gift from you. Even if it is just a set of burp towels or a baby blanket, it’s the thought that counts and that makes a gift especially special.
