Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! This month definitely brought in more time to exist and live. There were so many lovely memories made this month, and so much laughter. And, with the weather warming up again, I cannot wait for more cheerfulness, sunshine, and joy next month!

Adventures
Dinosaur Expo
My boyfriend’s nephew loves dinosaurs, and there was a dinosaur expo downtown that his family was attending. It started as a walkthrough sort of thing with various dinosaurs in little enclosures, but then it opened up into a huge area with food, crafts, a store, and even some places where you could ride dinosaurs! The nephew rode some dinosaurs, got some dino toys from the store, and we all got some food before finally heading out! That night, we ate at a place called Timbercreek, and it is now one of my favorite restaurants. I had a burger on sourdough bread, lobster nachos (hear me out; it was delicious), and got to try a White Russian for the first time (but with caramel!)
A Birthday Dinner
My boyfriend’s mom’s birthday was on the fourth, so we went on a little double-date with them at an Asian restaurant. I, naturally, got sushi; California rolls and some with cream cheese. His mom and I also got mocktails! On the way to meet up with his parents, I made a card and we parked for a bit so my boyfriend could write a little message as well. We gave his mom the card and some flowers after we ate, and before we left, we got fortune cookies! Mine said something about sports and wisdom, my boyfriend’s said something about being creative… we switched immediately 😅
Movie Marathon
For my friend group’s next movie marathon, we did the Back To The Future trilogy! It started around 1:00pm and went until around 8:30pm? Before the last movie, some other girls and I took a little walk after we ate dinner. I sat by my niece nearly the entire time and there were some parts where she seemed rather entertained by the movie! I saw these movies years ago, but it was nice to refresh my memory of them! But I must say, my favorite is still the third; I’m just a sucker for westerns.
A Wedding
Two of my dear friends got married this month! They had been dating for a while and got engaged last May. I was blessed to be in the wedding as a bridesmaid, but each of us were the maid/matron of something; I was the Maid of Kindness! The colors were green and blue, so for both weddings I’ve been a part of so far, I’ve worn a green, off-the-shoulder dress! We didn’t have to be at the church until around 10:30am, which was great in comparison to my sister’s; we had to be there by 7:00am. We took a ton of photos afterward, then my boyfriend and I realized we needed to grab these big ol’ vases of flowers that everyone else forgot about! We ended up strapping them into the backseat using seatbelts and then hoped for the best during the forty-minute car ride to the reception. When we got to the reception, the vases were still intact, and I joined the rest of the wedding party. We figured out the grand entrance, which was rather fun as we all wore sunglasses and acted all stoic and cool when we came out. The food was amazing, and I even received a little box of gluten-free cookies! I learned a new line dance, and my boyfriend and and I tried whipping out some ballroom dancing moves, but we couldn’t remember much… BUT, like always, it was such a wonderful and fun night to celebrate another marriage!
