Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening! This month was pretty swell if I do say so myself. There were still times when I got upset over my job or had a rocky time at a social gathering, but I really enjoyed myself when things were going well, and I just really liked that. I don’t know. April was pretty neat.

– Bittersweetness –
This was my first year not being in a school musical (since I graduated last year), but my younger siblings were in the musical, so my family (and some friends) and I went to see it on opening night! It was bittersweet watching it all. It was an amazing production, and I was super proud of all the kids up there and their talents and everything, but I missed it. I missed the rehearsals and practicing choreography, hanging out backstage between shows and during tech week. I hope to find some local theater that I can join ASAP…
– Adventures –
Over the past few weeks, a friend has been mentoring me about social anxiety and overall life. It’s been super helpful, and I enjoy it; however, since my older sister now has her license, she’s been tagging along (‘cuz she’s also my comfort person in social situations). After our chats, the two of us just kinda… explore. We visited a thrift store once, have gone to Starbucks a couple times, and even went grocery shopping at a cool-looking Giant Eagle that was in the area. I just find it so fun. Sadly, I still don’t have my license yet, so it’s not as freeing, but it’s still nice to be able to go places freely when I can.
– The Little Things –
I just kinda feel like life was pretty great sometimes this month, especially toward the end. Now, it could be because I’m writing this during a four-day weekend (since I requested off two workdays), or it could just be that life’s pretty vibey, I don’t know. I felt like I was socializing more (people were approaching me and talking to me), and I felt happy, and the little adventures with my sister and mentoring chats have all just made me feel better and think about life a little more. I’m planning on starting a new job (hopefully) in June, and from there, I’ll begin my online course for event planning. I have some high hopes for the near future, and I’m just excited and happy.

Jane Eyre (not finished)
- gothic, romance, bildungsroman
- first time watching
- I’m gonna be honest. I’m a little confused about what this movie is about and what’s going on, but it’s pretty good so far. Not very similar to things I usually watch which gives a nice change and some cool diversity.
