I Graduated High School

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely morning/afternoon/evening! On June 5th, 2021, I graduated high school! I’ve been going to that school since 4th grade, and it’s been a roller coaster ride of a time. I made a few friends, and I experienced some amazing things throughout my schooling. Recently, I had my graduation party, so I wanted to share some pictures, highlights, and little fun facts about me and my academic career, because why not?

Pictures From Graduation!

I took quite a few photos during/after graduation. I love taking pictures to capture memories, so of course, I wanted to capture one of the most memorable events in my life as much as possible.

Some Funny Quotes

Since tenth grade, I copied down any funny quotes that I heard in school onto a document. I wanted to share some of my favorite quotes with you as they still make me laugh.

*overheard while walking down the hallway*
"I once lost my phone in my refrigerator."

Teacher: "I have two pillows. One for my head, one for me to hug."
Student: "Don't you have a wife for that?"

"He can't read; he's colorblind."

Student 1 *sighs*: "I hate Mondays."
Student 2 *flatly*: "It's Wednesday."

Substitute Teacher: "I don't know anything about AP Bio."
AP Bio Student: "That makes two of us."

Student 1: "[classmate name] I like your shirt."
Student 2: "Me too, that's why I bought it."

Student: "Ah, Master Windu, just in time! We were just about to have some cheese!"

*Student calls teacher's name*
Teacher: "No thanks."

Teacher: "Have you ever tried to stop [flowing] water?"
Student: "I just turn off the faucet."

Student 1: "Life is a highway."
Student 2: "I like chickens, too."

*Overheard from a fifth grade classroom*
"[classmate name] you need mental therapy."

*Overheard from a sixth grade classroom*
"Mentally, I am in pain everyday."

Student: "Jesus is the Kool-Aid man."
Teacher *looking up*: "Forgive him."

Teacher: "I promise I'm not an alien."
Student: "That's something an alien would say."

Student *talking about a message for his mom on Mother's Day*: "Can I just say 'Love you 'first name?' We're on a first name basis."

Sorry about that being so long. There were quite a few really funny quotes, apparently…

Advice!

For my graduation party, I printed out a ton of these cards that read ‘Advice for the Grad.’ I set them out on a display we had and as people came around each table and looked at my little display, they could fill out one of these cards and put it in a jar, giving any sort of advice to me as a graduate. I wanted to share some of the best pieces of advice I received with the rest of you!

Be the person you are in your heart.
When you are at a point in life, questioning God's goodness, or simply His timing, remember Job 38+39. He really has everything in his hands. Especially YOU!
Don't listen to others. Focus on what makes you happy.

I suppose that concludes my graduation post… If any of you have any fond graduation memories, or pieces of advice, or really anything that you want to share, share them down in the comments! I would love to read all of your memories, helpful tips, stories, everything! In the meantime, I hope you all have a splendid morning/afternoon/evening and can experience some of life’s magic today. As always, keep on inspiring folks and loving yourself!

Christians and education don’t go together. Put down the Bible, and pick up a science book!

So, being the person I am, I don’t mean to disrespect you or your beliefs; I strive to love and respect anyone no matter what they believe or who they are. However, I would just like to bring up that some big names in science (Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton) were all Christians. So, technically they go hand-in-hand. The Bible and Science can hold hands, walk to the park, and spend their lives as unlikely friends because I believe science, in essence, is the study of God’s creation, a.k.a a huge part of the Bible. But, like I said before, believe what you would like to believe, and at the end of the day, I’ll still love and respect you like I would anyone else 🙂

[…] I graduated high school! After nine years of going to the same school, making it through hard times and fun times, I finally graduated. I’m not planning on going to college but will be focusing on publishing my book(s) and expanding my acting career. My graduation party went really well, and I was actually quite exhausted by the end of it. That was back on June 12th, and I think we still have leftovers that we had to freeze. You can read more about my graduation and my party here! […]
